Appreciative Inquiry is a strategy for intentional change that identifies the best of ‘what is’ to pursue dreams and possibilities of ‘what could be’; a cooperative search for strengths, passions and life-giving forces that are found within every system and that hold potential for inspired, positive change.
We worked in pairs and explored:

What do you dream possible for the future?

I feel most alive and energised at my work when working toward at shared goal, in an atmosphere where authentic conversations are nurtured, where I am free to let go to make mistakes, to play and bounce ideas around. Working together in this way builds trust and capacity to respond meaningfully the challenges we face.

Where we can come together to co-create a better more inclusive world with better lives where we work in happy, energised organisations, where you get to be yourself, where we all have the freedom to really engage and follow our greatest passions.
Four Fold Practice
Andy introduces the Four Fold Practice for hosting:
- Host yourself - being present
- Be hosted - participate and practice conversation
- Host others - step up and host conversations
- Host together - co-create
The World Café is a method for creating a living network of collaborative dialogue around questions that matter in real life situations. It is a provocative metaphor. As we create our lives, our organisations, and our communities, we are, in effect, moving among ‘table conversations’ at the World Café.
Using two rounds we explored the question:
'How does it always end up like this, when what we wanted was so different?'
'Where can participatory leadership be used in our work or community to make the transition between our reality and our dream?'
